Hello all, We are working on a few things for Symposium: 1) We will have a booth in the exhibit hall- We will need people to volunteer some time to be at the booth to speak to people about VOICE and give away promotional items. 2) We will have a meeting for existing chapters to discuss our events, how things are going in this first year, areas for improvement & just to meet each other and interact! 3) We will have another information session for schools interested in participating. 4) We will have an ad in the registration booklet.
Please visit www.savmasymposium2008.com for updates on symposium. We will send an e-mail out seeking your feedback in regards to symposium related items and a procedure on signing up for and being reimbursed for registration/wetlabs and other costs when the time gets closer.
If any one has any ideas on usefull items that we can give out and stamp the VOICE logo or our name and website onto that would be great. What have you received at other conferences that you kept and used vs. throwing it inthe hotel room before leaving?
Our meeting time has tentatively been set for Saturday March 22 from 11:30 am - 1pm (after tug of war so we can cheer on our respected schools!). We will use the time to hold an introductory meeting for those interested in establishing a VOICE chapter (30 min or so) and to discuss how the five current VOICE chapters are doing, share ideas etc.
For those that attended last years talk, comments/suggestions are highly encouraged ! !
