Join us at our events at SAVMA Symposium 2013 hosted by LSU! Everyone is welcome to atend each of these events! Also, don't forget to stop by our booth in the exhibition hall!

Outreach Event:

- Date: Friday, March 22, 2013

- Time: 10am to 2pm. Lunch will be provided

- Location: LSU School of Veterinary Medicine (buses will run between vet school and River center all day.

Diversity Forum:

- Date: Saturday, March 23, 2013

- Time: 9am to 5pm

- Location: River Center, room TBA.

National VOICE Meeting:

- Date: Saturday, March 23, 2013

- Time: 3pm to 5pm

- Location: River Center (same room as Diversity Forum - TBA)

What Is VOICE?

VOICE is a student run organization that addresses a need for socio-cultural awareness that is not part of the current core veterinary curriculum. Therefore, we feel that the veterinary colleges and the profession as a whole will embrace VOICE and partner with our organization to fill this gap in the curriculum.

We plan to be an organized and unified student voice contributing to enhancing the diversity of the profession and the cultural competence of veterinary students. We plan to work with the AVMA, SAVMA, and AAVMC in diversity issues as they relate to the veterinary profession.
